About the Iconic Space – Impala dam

Known to many who have visited the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve as a sundowner spot where you experience high numbers of game coming to have a drink at the pan and enjoying watching them pass as you sip down your gin and tonic. Some may also know the resident hippopotamus who claims the pan as well as the beautiful Jackal Berry (Diospyros mespiliformis) Tree that provides the much-needed shade in the heat of the day.
