Please note that we do not make direct accommodation bookings, for visitors who wish to book lodge accommodation within Timbavati please reach out directly to the lodges.
The only access gate to Timbavati is Enkhulu Gate, which is at the end of Argyle Road, the main road into Timbavati that runs east from the R40 road.

Every visitor to Timbavati pays a conservation levy to help cover the significant and imperative costs of managing Timbavati as a world leading wilderness area.
Fully Catered Lodges: Adults (12 years and older): R 620.00 per person per night
Fully Catered Lodges: Children (under 12 years): R 310.00 per person per night
Self-Catering Camps: Adults and Children: R 240.00 per person per night
Self-Catering Camps: Day Visitors: 50% of the applicable conservation levy above"
All visitors to Timbavati require pre-authorisation for entry at the main Enkhulu Gate.
All vehicles will be searched by detection dog who have been trained to detect ammunition, firearms, rhino horn and explosives.
Do not approach the dogs at any time as they are working dogs.
Please be sure to declare all firearms and ammunition when entering or exiting the gate.
