Suites

Rockfig Safari Lodge is the perfect getaway for exclusive-use bookings, be it for your family or groups of friends. The six chalet-type suites make this a smaller more intimate setting.

Guests are treated to absolute comfort and luxury within their suites. Meticulous detail has gone into every aspect of their private space. Every room features shades of purple and green inspired by the surrounding birds and plants. Guests will have the option of both an indoor and outdoor shower, and on hot summer days, a cold outdoor shower is definitely a welcomed option.

Further highlights are the private veranda, mini bar and bath. When it comes to decor, interior features include specially commissioned watercolour paintings adding further beauty within the suites.

Indoor Guest Areas

A sense of the surrounding openness of the bush is captured within the layout of the indoor areas at Rockfig. A much-loved feature with younger guests is the open-plan kitchen. Here one can sit at the counter and observe the daily meals being prepped with the locally grown ingredients sourced by the lodge. However, on a cold winters evening, it is the fireplace in the lounge that will have everyone huddled around helping to take the chill off. With the majority of the decor keeping true to the beautiful natural surroundings, touches of opulence have however been scattered around the lodge. This can be seen in the elegant chandelier hanging above the 4m long dining table. Similarly with the locally sourced food, so are many of the furniture pieces seen within the lodge.

Outdoor Guest Areas

You will find it extremely difficult to leave the stunning outdoor lounge. The views are spectacular, giving you even more reason to laze on the cosy couches all day. Situated under a large thatched roof, this spot proves perfect come rain or shine.

Just a stone's throw away is the rather inviting pool that overlooks the sprawling bush, as a result, one could very easily lie on the pool lounges all day whilst soaking up the sun. To make it even more perfect, you could nibble on delicious pizza straight out of the outdoor oven. Why would you ever leave this heavenly place?
