Luxury Tented Tanda Tula Safari Camp
As one of South Africa's most luxurious tented bushveld bushcamps, we offer our guests an unforgettable experience in game viewing, warm hospitality and award-winning cuisine. Consisting of 12 luxury tents nestled along the riverbanks of the Nlharalumi, Tanda Tula Safari Camp exudes elegance and combines comfort and style with African roots. The open-plan lodge, which is completely unfenced, merges luxury with the natural environment.

On Safari
Tanda Tula Safari Camp is a sanctuary to Africa's Big Five, traversing over more than 20,000 ha of wilderness and undisturbed biodiversity. As there are no fences between the Timbavati and Kruger National Park, where game may roam freely in this open system, offering guests an incredible African wildlife experience.
Our highly skilled ranger and tracker teams guide our guests in the early mornings and evenings, in open Land Rovers, or on foot. Our extremely well qualified and highly knowledgeable guides will continue to inspire you with the wildlife, birds, and fauna, but also the lessons and secrets they will share about this magical place. Our Kitchen
Chef Ryan, our well-known and loved master of the kitchen, along with his team, will create a food experience that will keep you swooning throughout your stay.
Anyone who has stayed at Tanda Tula Safari Camp will vouch for the incredibly talented chef he has become. He is constantly creating dishes that delight and thrill the guests who visit us on safari from across the globe. It is without a doubt that Ryan is also one of the most popular members of the Tanda Tula family. Everyone who stays and eats his incredible food also enjoys his slightly strange sense of humour. Most of all, they are taken by his undeniable passion for what he does.
Ryan loves the freedom of working in this camp. It allows him to magically combine his love of Asian and Italian flavours in an unconventional and delicious way. He can have a more personal approach, and he loves his interaction with guests at most meals. With all Ryan’s culinary creativity, he still admits, with a laugh, that his last meal on earth would have to be chocolate!
