Bateleur Safari Camp is ideal for guests looking for an up-close experience of the true African bush and wildlife, and all the comforts required for a quality safari experience. The 3500-hectare property is located in the heart of the world renowned Timbavati Reserve, an exceptional safari location.
Accommodating 16 people, Bateleur offers spacious, comfortable safari units each with a large en-suite bathroom. The 2-strand perimeter electric fence allows anything shorter than an adult elephant to walk through the completely eco-friendly camp. From the deck overlooking the riverbed and its seasonal waterhole, guests often watch big game drinking or walking through the river bed directly in front of the camp.
Daily open-vehicle game drives and extended bush walks are offered under the watchful guidance of qualified rangers and trackers. Bateleur provides unparalleled exclusivity and flexibility during guided activities, as well as the opportunity for extensive walking in a prime Big 5 area.
