15 January: Rain Glorious Rain!

The last few days have delivered some wonderfully well-needed rains.

We had just over 90mm for the week which was eagerly soaked up by the surrounding bush. Our guests did manage to get out yesterday evening and even fitted in a beautiful sunset between showers.

We saw a fantastic large herd of buffalo feeding in the late afternoon light, just a beautiful scene! The big cats also graced us with their presence with excellent sightings of both leopard and mating lion.
