Two recently born white lion curbs were seen on Ingwelala within the Umbabat private Nature Reserve on tuesday 23rd May.
An Ingwelala member James Moir From the U.K was on an early morning game drive, desperate to see the lion pride that had regularly been reported in the area, when he stopped off at one of the lookout points and was rewarded by the sight of a lioness walking out onto the Riverbed. However he was not prepared for what happened next. Two very young white curbs came bounding out behind her and proceed to play in the riverbed in the light of the weak early morning sunshine. He called the sighting in, as is customary at Ingwelala, but the camp was virtually deserted and nobody responded.
